Hi, I’m Marco — a Facility & Project Manager with 10+ years of experience running operations, infrastructure, and multi-site projects in fast-paced retail and tech environments.

I started my career in the Apple ecosystem, working my way from store assistant to Area Sales Manager before transitioning into Facility Management — a move driven by my curiosity for technology and a desire to build and optimise systems at scale. Over the years I’ve managed 60+ locations across Italy, led cross-functional teams, and implemented digital tools — including CMMS platforms — to improve efficiency and sustainability across entire retail networks.

My background is a bit unusual: I have a Computer Science education and Apple certifications (ACSP & ACTC), combined with hands-on experience in operations, vendor management, project delivery, and team leadership. I enjoy bridging the gap between technical and non-technical worlds — helping people and organisations pick the right tools and guiding them through the process of adopting them.

I’m originally from Italy and now based in Voorburg, Netherlands, where I’m actively looking for my next opportunity in operations, IT project management, or technology-driven environments.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me tinkering with my homelab, exploring remote landscapes on foot or by bike, or behind the decks at a friend’s party.
